Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan Came To Keym Urban Renewal Office In Sarıgol For The Demolıtıon Ceremony Of The 1st Phase Area

Mass demolition was carried out near Sarigol office with participation of Mr. Tayyip Erdogan while connecting by 3G connection to the other demolition sites in different provinces making it the biggest demolition ceremony of Turkey.
Mr. Erdogan participated in the ceremony together with Minister of Environment and Urbanism Erdogan Bayraktar, Minister of EU Affairs and chief negotiator Egemen Bagis in the 40.000 m² area which was prepared for demolition by KEYM’s Sarigol office staff who also finished the negotiations with citizens in Sarigol, Yenidogan, Baglarbasi and Yildiztabya neighborhoods.
The demolition of Sarigol 1st phase area has been carried out in the 5th month since the beginning of project after the Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan, Minister of Environment and Urbanism Erdogan Bayraktar and Mayor of Gaziosmanpasa Erhan Erol conducted on-field assessments.
435 units have been evacuated so far in the urban renewal project of Sarigol 1st phase area. 300 buildings in total have been demolished in the area within scope of the urban renewal project which is widely supported by local citizens as well.
